Big Thompson Canyon Association

The Big Thompson Canyon Association has been involved with this long-standing festival for many years and has helped keep our non-profit group more visible to the public. The annual Estes Park Rotary Club duck race benefits our 501 c4 non-profit financially and helps increase out membership. Our organization has been active for close to 60 years. We hold an annual fundraiser to help other 501 c3 non-profit organizations reach their fundraising goals. We have raised money for multiple organizations through funds raised from our annual pancake breakfast.

Currently we are working on numerous repairs to our community building. Last year we were able to replace our roof on the main community building. This year volunteers will be replacing the roof on our picnic shelter and storage building. We are also in need of replacing the windows, replacing the hot water heater, replacing the back walk-door and screen door to name a few projects. Most of the materials for are being purchased as we obtain the funds to purchase them. The windows are the expensive item that is coming along much slower than anticipated. The continual repairs to our building are necessary to keep the building safe and up to date with current codes. The repairs make this building a safer place to meet and hold fundraisers for our current and future members for years to come.
