The Estes Park Memorial Observatory (EPMO) is used year-round for educational purposes for the Estes Park School District students and the general public. Proceeds from the Duck Race provide much-needed support for the operation of the EPMO. The observatory with the support of the Duck Race has donated $42,000 in college scholarships for our high school science, technology, engineering, and mathematics students.
