The Estes Park Memorial Observatory (EPMO) is used year round for educational purposes for the students of the Estes Park School district and the general public. Proceeds from the Duck Race provides much needed support for the operation of the EPMO. The observatory with the support of the Duck Race has donated $30,000 in college scholarships for our high school science, technology, engineering and mathematics students.
