The Estes Park Salud Foundation, established in 1997, has provided financial support to the Estes Park Salud Family Health Center for over twenty-five years. The Estes Park Salud Center provides medical, dental and behavioral health care primarily to low-income families under Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act or on a sliding fee basis for those patients not covered by these insurance plans and who lack adequate financial means for these services.
The Foundation's support provides financial assistance for patient services that are not covered under insurance or for those services provided to income-eligible families who lack insurance.
The Estes Park Salud clinic serves all members of the community regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The target population for Salud is low income working families and individuals who do not have health insurance in the Estes Valley.
