Estes Valley Watershed Coalition (EVWC) funding supports ongoing activities to improve the health of watersheds in the Estes Valley. The EVWC began with post-flood riparian restoration; we now also manage watershed-scale projects to address wildfire mitigation and landscape preparedness. As the local organization working with contractors and volunteers to seek opportunities for collaboration, fundraising is critical for grant application processes and cost-sharing requirements. Healthy watersheds are resilient and ready for residents and visitors to enjoy the beauty and benefits of protected water resources, well-managed forests, and thriving wildlife habitat. These benefits are grounded in resiliency strengthened by the EVWC.
