The Fiber Arts Council of Estes will host its 10th national fiber art show in June 2023 at the Art Center. Our participation in the Duck Race allows us to offer a quality experience to artists and visitors from across the United States as well as local Estes Valley residents. We have made Estes Park a fiber destination and our local lodging, restaurants and businesses benefit from the influx of visitors; all art sales benefit the Art Center. Our only income sources are entry fees and proceeds from the Duck Race. Participation in the Duck Race has allowed us to grow our show from a small local show to one that is recognized by national fiber organizations. We also are responsible for the annual yarn bombing on Elkhorn each June for Wool Market.
